ACT Conferencing Appoints Global Director of Sales

Lakewood, Colorado — December 7, 2009 — ACT Conferencing, global provider of corporate audio, web and video conferencing solutions, has appointed Eric Olmsted as its new global director of sales. Olmsted has been with ACT for nearly 10 years serving in various sales positions in North America.

In his new role, Olmsted is responsible for expanding the worldwide sales team and acquiring new customers around the globe. Olmsted will leverage his more than 20 years of sales experience to achieve these goals set for next year. Prior to joining ACT, Olmsted worked for Nations Way Transport and Verizon Wireless.

"There is so much opportunity in the conferencing world and ACT has the right mix of conferencing products, efficiency services and genuine customer support to meet the growing demand," said Olmsted. "While many providers claim to have similar conferencing services, ACT wins for customer support. As companies rely more heavily on conferencing services, some for the first time, customer support is key during this transition time and beyond as new services hit the market. We walk with our customers every step of the way."
