We take sustainability seriously

We at ACT Conferencing want to make the world a better place. Our conferencing solutions allow companies to reduce their impact on the environment by reducing travel, using online billing and referencing virtual user guides.

Our employees are committed to environmental practices that contribute to sustainability. Across the company, our goal is to increase recycling, reduce waste, conserve energy and use eco-friendly materials whenever possible.

Here are a few examples of practices that are implemented on a regional basis:

• Use our products/services instead of traveling for meetings
• Reuse office supplies when possible
• Recycle paper, plastic and aluminum
• Use permanent water bottles and coffee cups instead of paper or Styrofoam
• Buy recycled content, remanufactured and recyclable office products recycle them when appropriate
• Be aware of what we are throwing in the trash as it will end up in a landfill
• Allow a telecommuting arrangement, determined by department managers
• Permit employees to take a paid day off to support an environmental non-profit organization
